New in the Jufo-Salus team

08.08.2013 – On August 1st Lisa Waegerle started in the Jufo-Salus junior research team. Lisa, a graduate of the master program Sustainable Economics at the university of Kassel, researches on international experience with a focus on the relevance of autonomously created spaces of participation.


All five PhD students started their work

07.06.2013 – Since May the 1st all five PhD candidates started their research projects. Kai Wucherpfennig, who holds a Master in Geography from the Universtiy of Freiburg and Ursula Hemetek, Master of Public Health from Berlin school of public health, started in January, followed by Steffen Schüle, Master in Public Health from LMU Munich and Raphael Sieber, Geographer and studied spatial planning in Dortmund started in February.

Since 1st of May 2013 Ms. Rehana Shrestha from Nepal complemented the JuFo-Salus junior research team as the 5th doctoral student. Rehana graduated in 2012 from the University of Twente with a MSc Degree in Urban Planning and Management. Her PhD topic within the research group is Interactive Spatial Decision Support System (SDSS) for Collaborative Spatial Planning and Decision Making.
